Blog 2 - Elaborated Definition

Jamaica Kincaid's "Biography of a Dress" gives the reader two personal narrations about the same incident - one when the author was two years old and one when she was 43. This story demonstrates that even the same person can have two perceptions of the same event. In Brett Lott's "Toward a Definition of Creative Nonfiction," he says that creative nonfiction is about one's own truth. It's interesting how one's own truth can change with time.
